I am a Registered Dietitian (RD), a mom, a dog lover, a yogi, an educator, and a well-being advocate.
What is a RD?
A RD is a food and nutrition expert who has obtained a bachelors degree. Moreover, a RD has completed a 1,200 hour internship and passed a national board examination.
I am a Bowling Green State University alumna where I completed both my undergraduate degree in dietetics and my masters degree in food and nutrition. I completed my dietetic internship at Bradley University.
Why do I do what I do?
You are the reason I do what I do. I have encountered more patients than I can count that have encountered more dietitians and doctors than they can count…and they still do not have answers. I find my passion in helping people discover the power they already have inside to feel their best. I encourage individuals to expand their dietary choices and work to dispel nutrition myths and fear tactics seen in the media. My approach emphasizes the relationships among food, mind, and body while highlighting self-care and positivity.
I work with clients with goals related to wellness, prevention, and digestive health. I am experienced with complex medical conditions, including gastrointestinal conditions like Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth, Congenital Sucrase-Isomaltase Deficiency, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Moreover, I have experience working with many types of autoimmune disorders.
Where are you located?
My services combine nutrition with emerging technology in order to encourage successful outcomes. Sessions are available online by video chat or in-person at my office in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
