While fall is a great time for games every year, November is usually the most important month. This year seems to be fairly evenly distributed for fall so far, but November still hosts several major releases like Call of Duty: Vanguard, Battlefield 2042, Shin Megami Tensei 5, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl, and more. In particular, November 11 is an important date in the games, as both the remastered GTA trilogy and the Skyrim anniversary edition will be released.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition is another updated re-release of the game, and because its release date is so close, a lot has been revealed recently. For example, a large part of the Skyrim Anniversary Edition creation club content has been detailed and it has also been discussed how Skyrim Special Edition is updated. A lot of new / community-oriented content, such as fishing, is coming to the game, but it has now been revealed that content based on Oblivion and Morrowind is also included. It's worth noting that while a lot of the community-based content coming to the game has been detailed, not much is known about this new content. Ghosts of the Tribunal is a new mission based on Morrowind, with its story likely related to the main events of Morrowind, where the PC (known as Nerevarine) deals with the Tribunal - a trio of elves turned gods known as Vivec, Almalexia. and Sotha Sil. During this mission, players can earn "over a dozen" new Morrowind-related weapons and armor.

For Oblivion, it seems to go a bit further (or, at least in more detail), revealing the name of the mission as The Cause. In it, players will once again become entangled with Mythic Dawn (Oblivion antagonists) trying to open a new Oblivion Gate. This new story includes new enemies, locations, weapons, and a conjurable Daedric horse.

The big question now, given how this new content is confirmed in Skyrim Anniversary Edition, is whether these new missions will include new achievements / trophies, as well as if there is more entirely new story content than this. If so, fans are likely to learn more in the coming days, with less than two weeks to go from launch, but at the same time, it's hard to imagine anyone would be upset if it was just this. After all, this isn't Skyrim's first relaunch. More than anything, this Skyrim release marks the game's 10th anniversary. Very few games remain popular for ten years, which only speaks to Skyrim's longevity. Playing the Anniversary Edition will be a good way to celebrate, especially since news of The Elder Scrolls 6 isn't expected until after Starfield's release on November 11, 2022.
