What is vegan skincare?

Vegan skincare is skincare that does not contain any animal-derived ingredients. That includes ingredients like collagen, derived from animal skin, or honey, made by bees.

Many people choose to use vegan skincare products because they are concerned about the ethical treatment of animals. Others believe that the ingredients in vegan skincare are more environmentally friendly and sustainable than those used in conventional skincare products.

When brands mention that their products are "not tested on animals", or “cruelty free” they inform that they completed the whole manufacturing process without any animal testing involved!

Natural cosmetics offer many alternatives. I use several vegan ingredients - such as candelilla wax, soy wax, vegetable glycerin, oils, and butter extracted from plants, plant-based ceramides, plant-based proteins - in my homemade products and my clients' personalized products.
