NUTRITION COUNSELING:

When individuals struggle with disordered eating or eating disorders, food often becomes a source of anxiety. Nutrition counseling is imperative in helping challenge eating disorder thoughts and behaviors around food to promote intuitive eating and decrease anxiety and shame around food and body image. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT Skills, Nutrition Education/Therapy, and Experiential Techniques to aid my clients in challenging their eating disorder thoughts and behaviors.
