Performance Psychology
The human mind is an extraordinarily powerful tool. It has the ability to influence every aspect of our existence, including how we think, behave, relate to the world, engage in relationships, view our self-worth, and pursue our goals and dreams. It can either be our greatest asset or our worst enemy. Only we, however, can determine which type of mind we will possess.
Performance Psychology is the scientific study of how psychological components influence one’s ability to perform in any role and achieve success in any goal. It is utilized by many of the world’s greatest athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, soldiers, martial artists, performers, etc. It has aided teams to win championships, provided CEO’s with the mindset needed to grow monumental businesses, and transformed individuals of all ages into the best version of themselves. Based on the belief that we all possess the potential to achieve our greatest ambitions, performance psychology incorporates aspects of positive and humanistic psychology theories. The most prominent of these aspects are that humans are meant to lead fulfilling, exceptional lives and that every individual can acquire the strength and skills necessary to make that possible.
