We listen to you to find out what your goals, expectations and needs are, taking into account your workout, medical and injury history. We then take you through a physical assessment, including a postural and gait analysis, as well as taking you though a small workout. Sometimes it can be hard to stay on an exercise program if we’re doing it alone and on our own. We have the best intentions to get back into shape by losing a few pounds and toning up our muscles. When we begin our at home exercise routine, we are filled with enthusiasm and determination. But then something unexpected happens to throw us off our schedule. And before we know it, we’re putting our good intentions for better health on the back burner and our longing for physical fitness dies a slow but permanent death.

PERSONAL TRAINING

At Holm Studio Personal Training, we invite you to experience our outstanding service and personal attention in a clean, distinctive and private fitness environment. Along with our group fitness and massage services, Holm Studio Personal Training offers individual and partner personal training. Holm Studio also offers private small group sessions with our personal trainers (up to 4 participants).

As personal trainers, we specialize in Weight Loss, Lifestyle and Nutrition Coaching, Sports Performance, Muscle Gain, Corrective Exercise (helping poor posture, problem knees, shoulders and other joints, post-rehabilitation training, etc...), and Core and Functional Strength Training. Holm Studio Personal Training also trains special populations, including Pre-Natal, Youth, Senior, and even people with conditions such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis and arthritis.

Owner Josh Holm and personal trainers Michelle Bishop, Erin Hester, Kate Nightlinger, Lee Joyce, Tracie Weil and Paige McBride have over 80 years of combined experience in personal training and are all certified thru the National Academy of Sports Medicine or American Council of Exercise as specialists. We use our personal training knowledge to create individualized program design through an in-depth assessment process that includes goal-setting, postural assessment, gait analysis and medical & exercise history. Classes

Yoga

Remember when we were kids and flexibility was automatic? We didn’t need to worry about being able to stretch out and grab onto the next rung on the monkey bars. We just did it automatically. And in gym class we did all the calisthenics with ease. That flexibility is still there within you. It may be dormant, but it’s not dead! You just need to rattle its cage, jump start it and kick it into gear.

Enrolling and participating in the yoga classes at our fitness center in St. Charles, will give you back your flexibility. You can join a class or have your own personal yoga trainer. Whatever your choice, we are here to show you the way to become more limber and build muscle strength at the same time.
