I have practiced dietetics in Tucson for over 25 years, specializing in gastrointestinal diseases and nutrition support. I began my career on the Nutrition Support Team at Tucson Medical Center caring for parenteral and enteral patients before transitioning to home care. I was the Nutrition Support Dietitian for Home Medical of America and then Coram Specialty Infusion Services, formulating and managing TPN and tube feeding regimens for patients in the home.
Throughout my career, I have counseled adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of health conditions, including gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes and heart disease. I taught prenatal nutrition classes at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Clinic.
I have conducted many presentations for healthcare professionals on topics ranging from Short Bowel Syndrome to Ethics in Nutrition Support. I have comprehensive knowledge in Medicare reimbursement for parenteral and enteral nutrition.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Arizona and completed my dietetic internship at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
