About Me Therapy is a not a job for me… it’s a calling. Don’t eye roll, I’m serious! Let me now explain. After 12 painful years in Corporate America, I was led (pushed actually) back to school for Master’s degree #2 in Counseling. In my corporate roles in Human Resources (HR), I couldn’t help people – not the way they deserved. I was a cog in a machine pushing policies I didn’t agree with that left me in a stairwell on my knees in tears. Between you and me, I’m easing out of being a cog in a machine for the past 6 years working in community mental health. Now, I can focus on putting my clients first and doing my part to help them on the path to deliverance. The fun stuff… I’m from Philadelphia. I will remain an Eagles fan FOR LIFE, end of story. I’ve watched them since I was 11 years old and won’t stop now. I love exercise and nutrition… and learning to marry it with therapy has been a dream. Anime is my “not guilty” pleasure. Don’t judge me, it’s great! I like a good meal, whether I cook it or eat out somewhere. I’m always open to trying new places and recipes. My true guilty pleasure is sitting outside eating a scoop, or two, of Baskin Robbins ice cream. It’s my happy place!
